Our center held the Belt and Road Lunch Talk Series Topic IV and invited Mr. Paul McComb as the guest speaker

In 31 July 2018, Organized by our center and supported by Hong Kong Energy and Minerials United Association, the Belt and Road Lunch Talk Series IV was held in Hong Kong Bankers Club, Mr. Paul McComb, Director General Trade & Investment, Hong Kong and Macau, was invited as the guest speaker. Over 65 guests from prestigious political and entrepreneur attended the Lunch Talk.

Mr. McComb shared Belt and Road – the UK perspective, mentioned the UK is the supporter of Belt and Road with invested US50m into AIIB Project Preparation Special Fund and appointed BRI Minister and members of BRI Global Forum, etc. He stated that Hong Kong is key to UK trade with China, and suggested Hong Kong should seize the advantage of finance and legal system to be the dealmaker. Guests showed enthusiasm in the UK prespective of Belt and Road and future development of China and the UK in Belt and Road, leading to a lively discussion with Mr. Paul McComb in the Q&A session.
