18th June 2018, Hong Kong Women’s Kabaddi Team Participating in Inter-City Championship in Malaysia. Kabaddi United Hong Kong, Kaisun Energy Group Limited (KEG) and Silk Road Economic Development Research Center co-organized a send-off ceremony and a demonstration game yesterday with Mr. Joseph Chan, our center chairman, who was hosting the event.

Hong Kong Women’s Team will fly to Johor Bahru in Malaysia this Thursday to participate in the 8th International Inter-city Championship. Participating teams include City Teams from Malaysia, New Zealand, England, India and Taiwan. The goal of this competition is to compete for a place in the top three and gain valuable experience to join 2022 Asia Games.

At the same time, a demonstration game was arranged between Hong Kong Women’s Team and Multicultural Men’s Team. Women’s Team won the game by 47:30.

Mr. Joseph Chan, our center chairman, who presented the trophy to the winning team and gave words of encouragement to team members for the upcoming international competition.
